This week we explored things underground. We set up an underground station in the garden, with a ticket office, tube maps and lots of trains to drive or be passengers.
We learnt about animals that live underground, including rabbits, foxes, badgers, moles, hedgehogs and worms. We made hedgehogs out of clay and made hedgehog bread rolls. We set up all sorts of dens, tents and tunnels and experienced life underground. We read the story of Superworm and made a real wormery.
